Hello Gentlemen, sorry if I feel like an idiot asking this.

My mother has multiple scerosis. For those of you that don't know, you can google it, but in summary she is bedridden and needs help with everything.

I recently moved back home and I hate it when she makes demands for me to do something which is ultimately obviously something she needs help with. For some reason, I hate feeling like a slave yet I should be compelled to help due to the fact she's my mother and there's a family connection there.

I never had a deep family connection with my parents which is something I've envied from those who do. I feel that's the reason I hate it when she's barks orders at me asking to do something. I know I should feel like a jerk for asking, but I need a swift kick in the guts which some worldly or blunt advice so no matter what she asks I am more than obligating.
