So I ran across this article today that doles out some more red pill truths. The most relevant bit:

Yet the emotional bond was different than it is in expectant moms. Instead of thinking about cuddling or feeding the baby, dads-to-be focused on the future: they imagined saving money for a college fund or walking down the aisle at their daughter's wedding.

Long story short... want to see kids have a future? They need a Dad; Mom doesn't give a shit about the future, she cares about now. Let's go through some of the specific physical changes mentioned in the article.

Fathers Insula (the brains threat processing) shrinks upon having a child... the mothers increases. Dad relaxes when he has a kid: Mom just gets more stressed out.

Fathers Posterior cingulate cortex decreases in size, no noticeable change in mothers. This is the "narcissism" part of the brain.

Fathers Fusiform gyrus also decreases in size. This one is something of an unknown, as it is generally thought to be related to visual processing, but a smaller Fusiform gyrus is also linked to lower incidence rates of depression.

Fathers Superior temporal gyrus increases in size... no noticeable change in Mothers. The gyrus is the brains empathy center.

tl;dr Having a child makes a man less self-centered, more empathic, and less stressed. Women see none of these same benefits, rather depending on the increased levels of dopamine and oxytocin that both genders enjoy to "connect" them to their children... by chance the same mechanisms that connect them to sexual partners. Biology has, once again, confirmed that the genders are different, while also bringing into question whether mothers actually "love" their children any more than they "love" their partners.
