So I was in a relationship with a girl for a year before I had to move away from the town. She was committed (5 year long distance relationship) when we started dating but I didn't know that. She told me that much later in the relationship. She stopped talking to him when we were together telling him that she had developed feelings for me. We had good times and I had that "Oneitis" for her thinking she is 'the One'

But once I came to know about her previous relationship I did some simp shit, giving her the choice to choose between us thus giving her the chance to lead the relationship. This worked well till I was in town. But once I was gone she started talking to the other guy( also located at other location than the girl). He was all suicidal over if she did not come back to him, he will kill himself and stuff (saw screenshots of chats). It created a lot of drama in our relationship with she saying that she cannot ruin his life by being selfish. Then again I started behaving like a simp and kept trying to explain how he might not be the right guy for her and stuff.

And then I asked her who is she choosing between us and she chose him( I know its weak stuff). I stopped talking to her after that but she will text or call back within a month or so and we will start talking like nothing happened until I brought the issue of other guy. On this she would say she cannot tell him about us talking as he might do something to himself. So we would cut contact again 'mutually'. this happened like 2 times more. So she chose him over me again and again.

Since last time we had not had contact for over 5 months now but I believe she is going to contact me again in some time.

What are your suggestions on how should I take the situation forward if she contacts me.

p.s I would like to keep her as a casual girl by my side. geography is India if that makes a difference
