Sometimes I think female hypergamy is like the way men see mediocre jobs. I'll settle for this mediocre job at $12 /hour because it's all I can find. I show up, I do the work, don't expect enthusiasm. A few years later, I find an opportunity where that guy will pay me $15/hr for a similar job. Hell yes, i'll accept that new job. Won't even give notice on the old one, just walk out. That's how lots of young women see their BFs or marriage, just waiting for a better opportunity. But this only works when you're young. Once you start getting old, the new opportunities get scarce.
