I agree with you. This sub seems dangerously close to becoming the mirror image of feminism. Feminists spend all their time complaining about "toxic masculinity", but don't seem to be able to explain what " non-toxic masculinity" would be. Similarly, here people talk about toxic femininity, but they really just seem to mean "femininity," writing off 50% of the population as narcissistic by default. Plus, there's the same confirmation bias.
Imo, a good woman would put as much into a relationship as she gets out. Every relationship I've been in has ended with me driving myself insane supporting her constantly, only for her to disappear and make excuses (or even get angry) when I question why I'm doing everything for nothing. Then I dump her, and the cycle repeats.
There's a very common belief, mostly in America I think, that a man shouldn't ask for anything from a woman. If he does that, he's entitled and childish. A real man, people say, would do everything for a woman just out of love, not out of the expectation of reward. They miss the obvious double-standard. If a man is supposed to do things "just for love" then why does the woman need a "reward" either? Shouldn't she also do everything "just for love?" They ignore the fact that love can take a long time to grow, and that relationships should be a relatively equal trade that leaves both people happier than they were before. Instead, people seem to believe that a man should make a woman happy at all times, and that the man should derive his happiness just from having the privilege of being near the woman (who is statistically almost always a 300 pound landwhale).
Three women in a row have believed pretty much the same thing, and you only have to look on random relationship posts on Facebook to see the same entrenched belief everywhere. However, I've also spoken to a few foreign women, and none of them are anything like the American women I mentioned. I never had enough in common with them to pursue a relationship, but they were much more fair and level-headed about the whole subject. That's why I think think the real issues described on this sub are most often an American cultural problem, and that by going on tirades about "all women" and attributing poor relationships to biology, we're just making ourselves into reverse-feminists.
Woohoo. I'll take my downvotes now.

Moreover than sexual purity a woman's deference is what connotes her true value. If she doesn't take much stock in her own opinions, we're going to get on just fine. Women aren't able to objectively learn the same way that men do. They filter everything through a lens of raw emotion and thus can't process logical thoughts and appropriate reactions. Any woman who can accept that she's incapable of leadership and who willingly submits without the constant shit testing is a true rarity and one completely worth the slightly annoying, thankless job of keeping her ass in line. A good girl who obeys is far sexier than a puritanical cunt who is too big for her britches.

Post questions to /r/asktrp.

A few things:
You need to read the sidebar material before posting. If you had you would have the answer to you question.
Throwing around the word "misogyny" in this sub isn't going to get you very far. You need to drop your blue-pill, PC lens.
r/asktrp is where you get to ask questions. Not here.
As a 35 y/o male as well, this place is amazing. You need to be a little more open to challenging your programming if you really want to swallow the red pill.
Good luck.

Sorry, when I said "misogyny" I meant the hate directed at women. Is that inaccurate? You have a thread called "single moms are subhuman scum". Seems pretty damn hateful. Please educate me. Also sorry yeah I should've posted r/asktrp.

I am not hateful at all. I do have zero patience for those that come to RP and fling their accusations without actually taking the time to read the required material. TRP does not hate women. In fact we love them. TRP helps us to see women for what they really are and to help us to let go of all of the feminist, blue-pill, pc bullshit that we have been spoon fed our entire lives. We couldn't care less whether you agree with us or not. TRP has changed my life for the better. We are only here to share knowledge. Do with it what you want. However, if you want to debate it or hate on it, you can head over to theblurpill or purplepilldebate subs.

I don't really care if you think you are hateful or not. My real question is what the hell can a woman do to not fuck up in your eyes? It seems like an impossible bar.
Look I'm not trying to fuck with you guys or tell you you're assholes or full of shit or anything like that. I genuinely think there are some good points that are made here. I'm just trying to figure this out.

[–]dmagne[S] 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Ok. I will for sure check that out. Thanks.

If you need an answer to your question, then follow my advice. Read the required reading in the sidebar first. Then, if you still feel lost, post your question in the proper subreddit.
That is exactly what I did.

Have sex only with someone you're sure to die with. Don't have meaningless sex. This stands for both men and women, I know a lot of men who think the same but not any women.
Also, value the person more rather than what he can provide. But really.
