Summary: An Italian movie from 1974 is so red pill, I can't even believe it exists. I highly recommend seeing it.

There is another version from 2002 that I have not seen. I doubt a movie like this 1974 version could be released now, or even in 2002. It would definitely be protested and boycotted. The story told is more-or-less straight from the TRP side bar. Hypergamy, control of resources, female attraction. It was written and directed by a woman.

I highly recommend watching this movie. It is readily available with English subtitles. Obviously none of us condone hitting women (which occurs in the film), nor believe that there would even be a benefit to doing so, but this was 1974 Italy and it's how the story was told.

Conclusion: There were still some unsilenced voices in the 1970s, and they did some interesting work that has value to this day.
