I see plenty of decently attractive female "engineers" in hard hats and very clean and well adjusted clothes appearing at more jobsites looking around like they know their shit, which they probably don't. Oh, and plenty of foremen hanging around them trying to impress them. Not making it up. Saw it doing roofing, in the military doing aircraft maintenance, in construction doing general construction, and in the oilfield.

these people are morons. the cost of construction is going up and this is a surefire way to make it go up another 5-10%. They also want minimum wage increase to $15, and I can tell ya, these contractors working by the hour for $30-40 aren't going to stay at that rate when people sitting on their asses make half what they make and they have tons of overhead licensing and other liabilities and tools. They will instantly be $50 minimum (for small time guys, companies are already $60-80 per man hour, so i hope you are ready to pay $100 per man hour for anything. Plumbers will be the same but probably more).
