Hello TRP, I have been reading the sidebar + posts for about 2-3 months now to the point where I am seeing the things everyone talks about come true in real life.

I am 23 years old and I'm greatful I found this subreddit so early, as most of the things that are discussed are 100% true and were things before I couldn't figure out, eg, why women date assholes and say they want 'nice guys' and feminism in general.

What I think when I think of RP is like a little motivator on my shoulder motivating me to, lift harder, be better, get to that top 20%.

I've noticed it even in films too, one of my favourites where this is displayed is Crazy Stupid Love with Steve Carrell and Ryan Gosling, Steve Carrell is a beta who gets dumped by his wife, goes to drown his sorrows in the bar and sees RP Gosling picking up girl after girl by just displaying the attitude where he knows he's the shit and executing amused mastery.

I think of myself as Carrell's character just now and RP as Gosling showing me the ways to improve to better my life, get plates etc. Also the part that amused me best about the film as when Carrell starts learning from Gosling and becoming RP, hooking up with random women all the time, you guessed it, wife has the tingles and wants him back, Gosling turns BP in the end, but as with all movies they have to have that hollywood ending, but it is definitely interesting.

Since i've discovered this site, I used to be 17 Stone, i'm 5'8 so you can imagine this didn't look good. I've got down to 15 stone, still a long way to go, but it's helped with my attitude and knowing, never settle, AWALT and as Gosling says in the film 'Be better than the GAP'
