Its because most women aren't attracted to a man that wants a 50/50 relationship. Women are attracted to strong men that carve their own path and provide security and resources, so they can sit around on their ass coasting along with his success. Feminism only exists to feed the female ego, none of it is based on true intentions. Even when a woman says she wants a 50/50 relationship, she'll still have a skewed idea of what 50/50 means, she'll still expect the man to sacrifice his life for her in times of emergency. Its all bullshit, like dangzagnut says, all women lie all the time.

Over the weekend I had another date with this woman I met on bumble, or at least just hanging out. I paid for our first date, second date only paid for my self. This time I was going to pay for lunch, but when I asked the cashier to split the bill she said not to worry about it. She put down most of the money but was 1,000 yen short so I put down the last 1,000yen. When we walked out I tried to give her the other 1,000yen I owed for my portion, but she refused to take it. She told me it was fine. On one hand it was nice to see a woman actually pay most of the bill. On the other hand it did feel emasculating because I wasn't paying lol. Kind of a damned if you damnded if you don't. Either lose money and feel manly or keep money and feel unmanly haha.
