I made a comment today at my friend's birthday party today, and I didn't know anyone there but my friend that I have known since elementary school. The last person had yet to arrive before we could start and it was a girl so I made a small joke saying she was a woman so it's normal for her to be late. In my mind this was a small and a bit funny not a big deal, boy was I wrong. A lot of the guy's in the room turned on me and called me an incel and sexist when the whole idea behind the joke was from experience and harmless humor. My ex was slow to get dressed 10 minutes turned into an hour, my mother, my step mother, and my grandma all took a lot of time to get dressed. I honestly don't know what we can do anymore with people like this, women make small jokes like that all the time to my face but it's harmless and it's funny why should we be getting offended?

That’s what’s frustrating. People see I’m a member of this sub and automatically shout “incel” because that’s what people on twitter told them. Truth is no other sub has motivated and encouraged me to live my best life like this sub. I don’t even focus on the relationship part of it too much, i just like being part of a group of men encouraging each other to become happy with themselves and not give in to societal pressure that’s meant to make them unhappy.
