I've been watching a few of Player Supreme's videos over the past year or so. From what I gather, he's a "controversial" anti-PUA dating coach that has gotten some flack on PUAHate and elsewhere for being a PUA in disguise.
I've found myself agreeing and disagreeing with him at times. But I do agree with the gist of this video in that the best way to get tail is to stop chasing it and focus your entire time, energy, money, and resources on self-improvement, and learn to get in with the upper echelon rather than being a "ho chaser" (aka PUA).
In my opinion, lifting weights regularly should be at the very heart of this: the #1 priority for any man. It builds tremendous self-confidence, even if you aren't totally ripped.
At this point in my life, I've chosen to set my sights extremely high (I will only accept 9s and 10s), sworn off chasing women entirely, and have been showing them all complete and utter disinterest. If they ask me questions or try to talk to me, I try to figure out what they might look like without makeup (or even imagine them to be a guy). Conversations get very interesting when the idea of sex is removed from the equation.
I used to use this same approach years ago, but I had not developed a healthy "inner game" at the time. Now I invest almost all of my time in self-improvement (not just through exercise but also getting through a number of books that I purchased recently), getting things done, and participating in /r/NoFap.
IMO the icing on the cake is to always look and act your best. Take care of yourself. Beyond exercise and a healthy diet, there's daily showers, cologne (no cheap shit like Axe), staying well-groomed, and wearing clean clothes that fit.
I'm still in the beginnings of a very self-centered approach to life (which I regard as very red pill / MGTOW). Time will tell what happens.
