Is The Rational Male a good book series?

First one, sure. Second one no. 3rd if you got kids. It’s kind of boohoo and he advocates Pua vs mgtow but as with any book.. take what you can use and dump the rest.

I've only read the first one. Not gonna hate on it, it had a profound impact on the way I think and view the world, and it's constantly proven to be true in my own experience. I have massive respect for Rollo Tomassi, and think he has a really keen eye for spotting the game within the game. His blog is a treat, and so is his Twitter account.

However, I would advice to take the alpha worship with a grain of salt, and to pretty much ignore everything about what you're actually supposed to do with this knowledge. Rollo doesn't always take his own advice - like the stuff about 'maintaining frame', yet he goes ahead and gets married (which is a massive loss of frame in itself).

But that's ok, he's just human too, still figuring things out and thinking out loud (don't we all?). And everything taken into consideration, that guy has done more for the sanity of men than most others have. MGTOW isn't his thing, and that's fine too. At least he attempts to debate the subject of MGTOW from a logical, respectful point of view, bringing actual arguments to the table and treating it seriously, and that's really all you can expect from a person. Nobody is going to agree on everything all the time.

'The Rational Male' is an important piece of literature as far as I'm concerned, and I think it will remain so for generations to come.
