Good classic choice. Can't go wrong there. Tip: Drink it neat, and let it sit in the glass for about 10 mins. first. It's got a great aroma too.

Excellent choice! One of my favorites for sure. It is also a good one to offer to newer Scotch (or whiskey in general) drinkers since it is very easy to enjoy. You've inspired me, I'm going to go pour a dram of something myself. I think I'm out of Balvenie right now, but I'll find something nice. :)
