I've been free of my son's mother for about 2 years now. Classic cheater story.

I made the choice to go back to college a little while after our split, but this required me to move back to my mom's house. This sucked to have to do at 25, but I was lucky enough to have that cushion. I finished last June with my CAD cert.

The entire time I was in college, I was berated and belittled for going back to live with my mom, even though this girl has been on welfare in the past, declared bankruptcy and barely makes it by as a HCA (with no plans of upgrading).

She would make sure to remind me that I was in school for "doodling" and that it was nothing to be proud of. Nice, right?

Well, I found a job about a month after college finished. 52k a year salary position. It's not 6 figures, but there's a lot of room for growth and I was pretty used to pulling in 25-30k a year. I live in a pretty nice apartment now, close to work, family and my sons school.

I'm able to save cash every month now. I already have a bit of pull with my department and have 1 person working under me.

Exactly what you'd expect happened afterwards. She wanted to get back together, be a family blah blah blah.

Yeah, fuck that.

I'd found MGTOW only a month after our break-up, so I was red pilled enough to stay away and knew things would never be the same anyway (she cheated).

I never forgot all the shit she said to me while I was just trying to upgrade my life, for the sake of our son. It's like she forgot that the better I do, the better our sons life could be. Some extremely malicious shit right there.

I work from about 7-3:30. I have quite a bit of spare time from Monday-Thursday in the evenings and I'm able to save about $1000/month after all is said and done.

I've banked a few thousand bucks, but I'm wondering what some of you would do with the extra cash?

I'm looking to invest both my time and extra money into something profitable. If you have any bright ideas, comment below. It might help others make some good financial decisions as well.
