Imagine you have to spend hundreds of dollars on your appearance constantly in order to get a date and in the end you think you are equal to the dude that just showed up. It's always smart to offer to pay for the first date. This will give you a ton of information on what kind of a woman she is. Like if she fervently refuses and you end up compromising of splitting the fee, she might be worth keeping as a friend. I dated a girl once like this, every time we argue who should pay so we decided to just either split it or we do take turns. I really liked her attitude in life (she thinks women should take care of themselves and not depend on men.
