There are no doubt good vegans and vegetarians, some of my best friends are and aren't in your face about their diet. It's just what they eat, not who they are. There are a large loud majority, however, of vegans who I strongly dislike, my sister being one of them.I have zero issue with people living their life how they want to. However I take issue when they condescend to people in their lives for eating meat, cheese, and other animal products.

Choosing not to eat meat won't end animal cruelty because people don't just kill animals to eat meat. Human beings are natural meat eaters and vegans believe that eating meat is hell and sin on Earth and you're the devil for doing so.

You also would have to convince the rest of the world - Europe, Asia, South America, and Australia to not eat meat and the US is not the largest producer of food and animal products.

And if killing animals is bad, then why is killing plants good? Why are vegans and vegetarians okay only not killing animals, plants are living too and just because they're not running around doesn't mean they shouldn't be preserved.

What has your experience been with vegans like?

Mine has been for the most part been abysmal, and their holier than thou mentality is what gets me the most, not just their diet (which I could honestly care less about).

If all you have in life is your veganism or vegetarianism, you have a pathetic life.

Edit: Not to mention the chemicals you spray on plants are worse for the ecosystem and the environment and your health than the meat (if you eat well raised animals)
