First he counts the 'benefits' of marriage as living longer with a miserable creature that would sooner divorce rape you than stick with you when the going gets tough. Then sights suicide onset by depression, cancer & heart disease as a result of a divorce that was fully avoidable by not getting married in the first place. Then counts those deaths resultant of marriage & subsequent divorce amongst the aggregate figures of the shorter life spans of unmarried men. Be wary of people who are selling you a concept. They are marketing, and are therefore not motivated by doing you right but by making as many people part with their money as possible.

He got the cause and effect backward. Men don’t live longer and healthier lives because of a successful marriage. The best, healthiest, most successful men have successful marriages because they are all those things and they chose a quality partner who is capable of self control and growth.

A healthy successful marriage is a positive thing in a persons life. We would be fools to think otherwise. The problem isn’t marriage, the problem is the partner. To be successfully married today you have to find a woman capable of making a significant investment in a partner and seeing the long term benefits of her investment. But this Instagram generation is all about short term validation. You can offer her millions forty years from now or twenty dollars today and she’ll take the twenty because she can’t help herself.
