I watched the Witcher on Netflix and just wanted to review it a little.

I never read the books and only played the games, so I don't know how exactly the series sticks to the books.

I only know that they have changed the order so that they could introduce Yennefer and tell more about her, and also Ciri. Which I think both should actually be mentioned in the books much later.

The season has 8 episodes, each episode is approximately 1 hour long.

So 8 hours, and if you think you will see the story of Geralt of Riva, his training at the witcher school Kaer Morhen with the other witchers or Geralt's adventure and action-packed quests and interesting side quests like in the games, then you will be disappointed.

Well, there will only be a few scenes where Geralt fights monsters, but that's it.

In episode 7, they even decide to just skip 12 years of the story.

The series revolves more about Yennefer of Vengerberg.

The ugly handicapped little femcel that got bullied, and treated bad by the village people, her mother and stepfather.

Until at some point, she will be at the school of sorceress and you will see:

How she will get trained in magic.

Have sex with a Chad sorcerer (Cringe Bonus: They have audience when they have sex and applauds when they're done)

And even more scenes with her, Geralt is more like a side character.

She gets more and more powerfull (and more narcissistic) and gets transformed into a beatifull sorceress.

Gerald's the badass man, who is supposed to have no emotions as a witcher, will turn into a bluepilled cuck that cannot take his eyes off her.

And by the end she will become the most powerfull sorceress of them all.

Overall:

- I liked the visuals and I also think Cavill Henry did a great job playing Geralt of Riva. To bad that he didn't have that much screentime.

- The Ciri story part was confusing at first. It took me a while to understand that her story took part in the future.

- The forced dIvErSiTy is just annoying.

- Oh, and don't forget about the Feminism parts. Yennefer and the Queen (Ciri's grandmother) had a few "Women Power" lines to say.

- Of course there were also a lot of sex sells strategies with a lot of nudity and sex/orgies as well as your average romantic roller coaster drama to "impress" the superficial and bluepilled mainstream audience.

Why superficial? Maybe an unpopular opinion now, but when movies/series need sex sells strategie, they become superficial for me.

Like on Tinder. Showing some cleavage or six pack to draw attention and attract orbiters and supporters.

If you like seeing naked people having sex that much then, you know.. just watch porn. There is enought free material on the internet.

However, this "The Witc(her)" series on Netflix is not about The Witcher, but more about Yennefer and what's happening around Geralt.

For me it was nothing more than a side story to the games and a 6/10.

It's nothing new and gets to overhyped, basically like Games of Thrones.. probally, I don't know.

As I said, I don't usually watch shows that are just hyped because of some tities and sex or romance rollercoaster drama.
