Ughh, this brings back very bad memories. That novel/manga/anime is one of the best examples of bait and switch: Naofumi went from dark hero to white knight very fast. 0/10 would recommend.

When I was a kid, I was going around at ever car door with "Open Sesame". I didn't know what this phrase exactly means but in the TV show, I saw it opens doors to treasure.

So this must be phrase for opening doors? I did it at every door, no door opened but I kept trying because in the show it did work.

And this is what she's doing.

She just know combination of what words made a man trust her before and she repeatedly keeps trying in hope that it will work again. She doesn't understand the meaning of those words, she just knows these words lead to a desirable result the previous time, so there is nothing wrong in trying it again.
