I know a few quite pretty women that will have this same problem. They act humble but you can tell that they know that they're pretty and have big egos because of it. What they dont realise is that their looks are gonna fade sooner than they expect and they'll soon fall down the priority list for men.

Reminds me of a conversation I had with a 39 yr old who said that she was waiting for the one. Her looks were gone. But she was still hanging on to the dream of the perfect guy.

I think the majority of post wall women who decide they want commitment (instead of just riding the carousel) are looking for Captain Save-a-ho. It's not about love and it's too late to have kids. I've heard hints from a few women approaching middle age, they've come to a horrible realization of what the rest of their lives look like. Stuck in a pointless job they hate, nothing to do outside that but go to the bar for the gorillianth time, go home and watch netflix. They realize they will be doing this until they die because they didn't bother to work their way up, invest, or plan for retirement. They have far less orbiters now, and the few that remain are closer to omega tier. They're terrified of the miserable future ahead and scrambling to find a beta bux to save them.

Sooner than I expected. At 40? Sounds like she was delusional. Those expectations are a killer.

I was thinking recently I don't date because my expectations are too low. But they are realistic about what I'll find so maybe they aren't 'too low' at all.
