I remember seeing books in gift shops with every page empty. Their title would be something like, "Everything Men Know About Women." It was funny to me when I was younger, but I eventually I thought it was odd that men seem to avoid knowledge about women. Hadn't we ruthlessly pursued every avenue of thought in order to invent countless technologies and discover the secrets of the universe? How could it be that we really knew nothing about women.
I think I now know the answer why: Men have always suspected the truth of female nature, but men choose to suspend their disbelief about women in the same way they would avoid spoilers for a TV show they wanted to see. In a way, knowing red pill truths is like skipping to the end of a book. Or it's like finding out how a magic trick is done. What has been seen cannot be unseen!
