No lie this was me when i first went mgtow or to say the least shifting into that mindset. What had gave me faith was my parents marriage. perfect? no but how everything carried out seemed like a true love story. however. the chances are too high to play that game. therefore i’m staying single.

I think for guys who are on the fence about mgtow and aren't sure if it's true, it can be beneficial to go through an LTR during their peak testosterone years (18-25), it gives you an outlet for all your sexual energy, which is much needed, and you'll learn along the way that mgtow is true. Just don't get her pregnant, don't live with her, and don't marry her. Also don't fall in love with her, but that will be hard if she's hot and a cool girl and she gets you hooked on her pussy, but oh well, even if you get hooked, you'll be stronger after she fucks u over. And pussy will lose all its power and mystique over you once you get through all that. I was Red pill for my first (and only) LTR, so it actually was a fairly successful endeavor overall, and I wouldn't change anything about it and I have no regrets, but if I'd been mgtow, wow it would have been so much better.

The main issue is that an LTR is going to take up alot of your time and energy, even if you're smart and only see her once a week (which you should, "give her the gift of missing you"). There will still be all the phone calls , texts, emails, there will be fights, drama, dealing with her emotional baggage and made up problems, etc etc etc. When this time is better spent building your life and your career and things like that. But , the way I think of it, having an LTR was the best and most valuable education I ever got, and in the long run saved me hundreds of thousands of hours of time and energy that would have been wasted chasing women, millions of future earned dollars that I'll keep all to myself , and saved me from marriage etc etc. So even though I may have given up a few years that I could have been working on my finances , those years led me to mgtow,and will overall be equivalent to winning a lottery in a way.

I dont have faith, but I treat every day as it comes with my long term lover. I'm prepared to walk away at any moment. I maintain strict boundaries and she understands the basic MGTOW principles of no marriage or cohabitation.

She's a great in bed, kind at heart, and I love her.... but simultaneously she's fucking nuts and emotionally complex and she now knows it. When I was blue pulled she put me through the wringer on several occasions with her drama and female nature.

She knows times up if she fucks up because the bar has dropped. Weve been through multiple break ups and every time it's happened I've ended up running off with another chick soon after.... she knows this now. The last time it happened I ignored her for a year which she acknowledges "taught her a lesson".

She knows I always have female orbiters who will take her place if she doesn't behave.

By holding her to account since getting red pilled she's been much better to spend time with.

I'm taking a lot of strength from the philosophy of:

"If you want peace, prepare for war".

Weve known each other for 6 years and I'd rather be with her than fucking around in the cess pool of the dating market...its simpler.

She's MGTOW friendly by default, because she's so off the planet she's unable to make the demands most AWALTS would - she's not capable of marrying, raising kids or cohabiting due to her mental state.

I'm no longer counting the days weve been together. Every day is a fucking anniversary given the times weve got back together.

Since MGTOW the dynamic has reversed.

I don't know if I'm mgtow.

I come here a lot and agree with majority of mgtow views. I acknowledge hypergamy and am not happy with it, but understand its function. I treat women the same as I treat men. In fact, I go the extra mile to be more indifferent to women who appear to be using their sex appeal. I'm hitting 30 in a couple weeks, and feel like sex once a month is good enough for me (so I'm probably not "addicted to pussy" lol). I do not identify with the current feminist movement.

All that said, I've been in a relationship for about 3 years now. It has been an enriching one. I've read a lot about AWALTs and I'm really on the fence—if I'm mgtow or not. I guess having certainty in owning the label doesn't really mean much to me, I just felt like sharing.

TLDR; kinda mgtow, not sure if am, keeping up a 3yr relationship because it enriches my life
