Although her actions to press charges were completely unnecessary, it's the courts ruling which is the scariest part. You are always going to get some crazy people, but it's when judges start to agree with them, that's when you know to just walk away.

In the end, all this is going to do is lead to more and more men staying clear of women. It's just not worth having your reputation and career prospects ruined.

I can't believe she took this to the point of getting this guy jail time for trying to make a friend. Fair enough if she didn't like his approach but I've met awkward people in the past who were touchy and what not but it never once occurred to me to take these people to court for sexual harassment. The court siding with her side of the story completely goes to show how much they give a shit about the details when a woman wants to cry wolf.

The fact this guy would choose a girl to make friends with makes perfect sense to me. He would naively believe a girl would be a nicer person and therefore better friend.

You’d think that the young girl would understand his plight once explained and show some compassion.
