The high volume of posts from OP doesn't concern me. Some people are unusually prolific writers. So, they can comfortably post 10x the volume you'd expect from your average joe. His posts are logical and valuable. I'd be concerned if a high volume of posts was combined with strange and incoherent thoughts. But, that's not the case here.

Here's the specific situation:

I am in a pickup artist group on Facebook, and I have a reputation for giving shitty advice and a lot of it.

The Facebook group has over 600 people from around the city. There was a major pickup artist convention in the city and everyone who was in the Facebook group went. At the conference, whenever I introduced myself to someone in the group who I had never met they said "I know you. You're the writer." and we would politely continue the conversation after that. Here's the thing: about 98% of the group never posts anything. They just lurk. The majority of people have no reputation at all. They are the bland and timid masses. People in the group recognized me, even though it was for the wrong reasons. I've stopped posting on the Facebook group because the more experienced guys were getting upset, but I found it a unique situation where everyone knew me and I didn't know them because they were lurkers with no reputation.

Not true. Sometimes you really need tough skin to bite whatever they might say and deflect it. Couple of years ago I had a girl (one of the most popular girls in school) who thought I was hot in high school and asked about me etc to her male friends and I was told by many people to ask her out even though I wasn't really interested in dating. Comes the time when I did and she said something along the lines of "no thanks you can take your grenade belt back to the middle east" (Shitty racist comment)

I don't think of the gym as 15 min chunks. I always tell myself, just show up, it's all you have to do. You don't even have to work out, just show up. Then when I arrive, I'm like, well I'm already here so I might as do a small work out. Next thing you know I've been at the gym for. 1.5hrs.
