Long story but my wife recently got promoted and now makes almost $200,000K a year. She’s on track to get promoted again and make close to $300,000K. I was making $80,000 and happy but left my job because of her transfer. I haven’t got a new job yet but I’m kind of liking the whole house husband bit. I stay home do a few chores a day, work out, eat, etc. pretty much enjoying a break. I know it pisses her off I’m not making money at the moment and makes snide comments about it but what if roles were reversed? All she’s ever talked about is being a stay at home wife.

So it’s ok for a guy to support a woman but not the other way around???

This gets me thinking. Right now if she leaves me in CA I get paid half plus alimony. Sounds like a hell of a deal to me. I was smart to get fixed before marriage, which I didn’t hide from her, so no child support either.

I walked out of my last marriage broke as fuck. Finally I’m in a good spot why would I ruin that.

Currently I make some side cash money she doesn’t know about so I feel good about it all. I guess I just need to know if I should be feeling bad like society says I should be or just stay the course?
