1: Study in a good field that will make you earn at least 40k.

2: Stack up that money; don't spend it on useless things and keep your expenses low (ex: don't take a 300 mbps internet connection if you live alone, because 50 mbps is more than enough).

3: Do as much overtime as you can.

4: Invest all that money. Have a diversified wallet, in other words, don't buy $100k worth of Microsoft stock. Instead buy 20k Microsoft, 20k Alphabet, 20k Verizon, etc. This way, if one of those corporations goes bankrupt than the rest of your money is safe.

5: Only cash out when needed.

You are missing an essential point. Wages in the 3rd and developing world are around 2% of the first and there are 6 people there for every single person in the first world. With internet overcoming communication barriers wto lowering tariff barriers and container ships dropping transport costs together with ai there will be fewer areas where both uk and USA citizens can maintain first world living standards. If you earn 1000 a week and 6 people earn 20 a week in an open market your earnings will drop. This is what essentially is happening.

The key trick is not what you earn but what you spend. If you constantly spend less than you earn and build up savings your living standards will constantly rise. Further if you have savings there are lots of simple wages to earn high returns. Shopping for dry bulk essentials such as toilet paper can drop the cost by more than 50% if done on a bulk basis. That’s a 100% return on your money. Eliminate debt buy second hand only take bargains. Build up your investment income until it exceeds your minimal living costs at this stage you will always be wealthy.

My two eurocents:

Find an online job in the UK and move to an Eastern Europe EU member. You'll save tons of money + if you need, flying back to the UK for paperwork is usually 20-30 € times 2.
