Whoever decided a mans wealth determines how much a woman should be paid for her childrens maintenance was the king of assholes. I get that they are laws made in a different time but they have not aged well at all .

Just because you fucked and got impregnated by a millionaire does not mean you deserve to live a millionaire lifestyle after the relationship ended and maybe if women weren't grossly overpaid for being made into a mommy we'd have more women who actually entertained the notion of keeping the family unit together.

I'm willing to accept most women get married for good reasons, and aren't really gold diggers initially. But people change, and get angry with their partners. Screwing someone financially is a sweet revenge, I guess.
