They have plausible deniability about this too, considering women who take the pill do legitimately get pregnant even when they are trying not to. When factoring in mistakes and "mistakes", 7% of women who are prescribed the pill get pregnant every year. It's obviously more when factoring in the women who aren't even on the pill at all and lie about it. No matter whether it's deliberate or not, don't be one of the 7+%.
