A guy I know has breakfast every morning at a small cafe. Many single mothers waitress there, some still in their teens. He says it's like they can't learn from their own experiences. One day they say they're cleaning up their act, going to go back to church, look into a GED. Three days later they're talking about their new love they met at a bar. He'll make a great dad for her kids, he's moving in this weekend. They're in love and talking about getting married. One week to one month later, the story begins to repeat.
