humans are not designed to be monogamous

They are also not designed to make space shuttles, stock exchanges, GMO food and harvest nuclear energy. Monogamous relationship and nuclear family is the staple of civilization. Preserving it is an evolutionary imperative.

You've touched on something really special here and I believe you've hit the nail on the head.

Building connections with people is a beautiful thing. That's my dream, is to have multiple relationships where we value the shared connection but we're also aware that it's fleeting. No attachment, no dependency, no heartbreak, total freedom.

It took getting completely torched by a woman to get there. It's going to take society a lot more to get there, but it's a dream I have the future.
