If one of their girlfriends dates or married a rich guy the rest will try to one up her. There was a divorcee in my old social circle glad started dating a guy that was a manager at the local utility company. He made $180k with overtime. That was less than her ex so the other women deemed him unacceptable and (not so jokingly) suggested she date a guy with a jet. The women was attractive but 35 with two kids and no job skills looking for a bailout.

I doubt this is true, it's men removing themselves from the marriage pool. I make six figures, own two homes, a motorcycle and an SUV. I would be "prime" marriage material but I learned my lesson.

The only men left willing to marry are saps that are broke. Women control sex, men control marriage and women are giving it away for free. I get free pussy with younger, fitter women who are not looking for anything serious.

I don't understand.

If it's fundamentally an economic transaction, then why are richer men risking their money for women?

At the same time, women aren't being so generous. They'd never date or marry down without a reason.

Kinda makes me wonder... it's the same logic as to why women don't approach men. Even though men are the prize, somehow society conditioned men to think they're lower than women. So men have to deal with all rejection and women only need to pick and choose who they want.

When you start to see yourself as a prize, everything starts to change.
