Well I'd say SMV is relative, and in most situations there will never be an open comparison of partner counts. What matters more is perception: if women perceive a man to have access to lots of women, it will increase his SMV.

I don't think a woman having a high partner count actually lowers her SMV much at all. It definitely makes her worse marriage material, but at the end of the day, physical attractiveness is still paramount for a woman. And again, it is impossible to really know another person's partner count in the first place.

Well I would have to disagree because for all we know SMV is face value. SMV might drop after learning about a woman's history but for all we know the prettiest 9 you've ever seen could be a closet slut.

Sure, after realizing that she's a slut her value will go down, but it won't change her looks. Which is all we really care about.

Short answer: No.

Relatively longer answer: A guy who had like 100 fat, ugly, misbehaving past partners and is currently with a partner of this kind has less value than a guy who banged 10 women in his life, banging 3 of them for the last 8 years and the rest regularly within a 40 year time-frame in the past, while all were HB9s or HB10s when he was with them.

With whom would you have more fun? An amateur learning a racetrack in a Porsche 911, or a professional driver in a Volkswagen Golf? Or would you feel more comfortable with a driver that slides out of the corner into the sand and laughing at his fuckup, or a driver that sobs he slid off the track? It's not even the n-count that matters to these women, but rather all the baggage that comes with him. They just want a guy with whom they don't have to deal with petty things like insecurity, nervousness, or other trivial problems that kills the mood. That's why women say that sexuality is more of a mental game for them and prefer guys that aren't virgins. They just want to be entertained, being listened to, and a feeling of security that you won't turn into some lame manchild which is just so not attractive.

SMV is correlated with high count for both. relationship stability is anti-correlated for both genders, but it's stronger for women

i think this is mostly because when men cheat, they usually still want to be with their partner and raise their kids and stuff. when women cheat, they usually want to branch swing or otherwise get out of their relationship, or some unacceptable garbage like have their guy raise another guy's kid
