Hey guys. You might remember me, I posted about going to school finally and aspiring to be an HVAC tech. Since I dont really have anyone to tell about what Ive learned, I guess Ill tell you all instead.

So, if anyone can recall (If you cant thats okay), I said I did orientation and my HVAC course was only picked up by males. Well, it gets even better. My class is only 7 people, all male, and waaaay smarter than me, so they help me when I start getting confused. Im the slowest person in the class, but its nice to have a group of guys who understand that you work differently and are willing to help.

Its been 3 days and in those days Ive learned the difference between a Series and an parallel Circuit are and why we normally use parallel, how to crimp wires for connections on appliances, learned more about workplace/shop safety, understand most of how to use and accurately read a Multimeter (I only know the dial for Ohms, Volts, and Amps though, we're not to the rest yet). Ohm's Law, and the formula to Figure out Wattage, Voltage, Amps, and Ohms, and what those even mean, and how to read a manual charging manifold (I know how the outside temperature relates to the pressure on the dial, and the equation to find the proper pressure in a heating/cooling unit, 410a series...you basically add 25 degrees to the outside temperature and the dial should match it, example being if its 75 degrees you add 25 to make it 100, the correlate that on the dial and see what the temperature is. If its right then the unit is working, if not, theres a problem).

We took our first test today, which was open book. I dont much like open book tests, because you are guaranteed a 100% and dont really...know how much you really know. So I kept my book shut and did my best with what I studied. Everyone walked away with 100%, I walked away with 75%. Some of you might ridicule me for not grabbing that easy 100%, but I wanted to challenge myself and see what I missed so I could become more informed, and 75% is still PASSING, so Im pleased.

My toolbag is roughly 300-500 dollars, and it just feels so good looking in that toolbag, picking something up randomly, and being like "Oh, I know what this is for haha" whereas 3 days ago Id look in and be like "What the fuck is this thing here?"

I still have A TON to learn, but 3 days and all that? Im beyond impressed with myself and my class, and especially my instructor. 100% badass, good role model, core values are high. He's the man you'd drink a beer with at a bar and watch the football game and talk about work with, you know?

I also got a good paying job. Its only temporary, but it pays well. Just a small time restaurant, working the register 5-10pm Mon-Thurs, same days as I go to school. Now some of you folks might ask why am I working part time at a restaurant when I could be doing manly shit like stocking, construction, or anything else besides food service.

Answer is that I talked the manager up from the base, minimum wage rate of $8.60 all the way up to $10.00 flat. I make $50 a day, $200 dollars a week, or $800 dollars a month (Roughly, not deducing taxes), and with my living situation Im in, that pays for my phone, rent, groceries, taking care of my pet snake, and still having some cash to save up in my account.

Damn near impressed, and with me doing plasma donation, slap on ANOTHER **$400.00** (roughly, varies a bit)to that monthly total. Im staying above water guys.

Now go out and ask how many single, 19 year olds are doing all this shit and being this goddamn awesome? Practically none, because my generation is more affixed to fucking Instagram Thots, "hustling", and being overall useless to society as a whole. I cant wait to be a decade down the line, barely 30, and have these assholes flipping the burger I ordered for lunch, making minimum wage while Im pumping out salaries of around 22k to upwards of 75k a year.

Right now, life is just good, so damn good. And Im not going to get lazy with this, Im staying on my toes, keeping to myself, focusing on myself, focusing on my success, no one elses. I dont need some dumb woman to make me feel better about myself, I got the visible success of my decisions staring me in the face ever day to do that for me.

Life is good fellas.

(Note for the Mods: I have an Alt-Account on here thats named u/Tacticus_Anguis. I dont know if Alts are allowed but I want to clear up any possibly confusion if they seem similar with posts, general attitude, and so on. When one gets heat or banned by the biased, shitty Reddit admins, I jump to the other.)

Edit: typo.
