im sure you all remember the story about the lesbian couple who burned their baby boy on train tracks to kill him, i brought up the story with my mom and sister and their responses were absolutely abhorrent. they both tried to shift the scenario to men killing their sons and wives at a higher rate for life insurance money, which is so far beyond untrue, and laughed while saying "maybe that boy did something". I knew they had their moments of toxicity of the female variety but that is just way too far, disrespectful and downright fucking disgusting.
