US Gov't: Don't worry about it tax slave sucker, we already went into your bank accounts and took our booty, I mean "fair" share of taxes you owe us. Don't worry about the rate, we wouldn't lie or cheat you, we are the government.

Yes, governments definitely want to get rid of cash to ensure every transaction is taxed, and to reduce money laundering. Many countries have reduced the highest denomination of cash, making it burdensome to carry large amounts.

A Cashless society is terrifying.

No privacy.

Too easy to tax.

Assets seizure is all too easy.

Bank failure = zero money for you.

That $50 and $100 bills are still considered "high dollar denominations" is fatuous.

$100 -- even $50 -- was a significant amount of money back in circa 1960's (equivalent to probably $1,000 today); and even up to say the 1980's... but these days -- due to the DECADES of continual inflation/debasement of the currency -- well $100 is about 1 day's (gross) wages even for relatively LOW wage-earners.

Point is that we really OUGHT to have $500 and even $1,000 (or higher) denominations available and in (at least limited) general circulation.

Also, while the above vid is WELL DONE, it entirely misses one (arguably two) of the MAJOR factors driving the whole push to "digital" money: 1) that the "digital transactions" generally have a % based FEE that is "extracted" (a sort of "private TAX" that the banks HUGELY profit from); and 2) that it REALLY push-promotes "credit" based money (i.e. DEBT), and of course "living BEYOND one's actual means" (indenturing the population... basically "tricking" people into voluntarily turning themselves virtual "feudal serfs" for life).

And how will people pay for things if there's a power cut/no internet? Even likelier still future socialist nations will have regular power cuts/power rationing anyway as they always do and then everyone will be forced to use money again lol.

It's an hour long interview talking about how Nick Rockefeller (THE Rockefellers) befriended Russo and tried to recruit him into their cabal.
