Hello fellow TRP members, I'll get to the point. There's no thread in here that discusses this topic that is pretty broad, I used the search feuture and found nothing.

Going off the grid means, building a self-sustainable home, living off the land, in many different formats, urbanized, hybrid, or just full off. Anyone here is living off the grid? How did you achieved the project?.

My background: I'm 27 years old and 2 and a half years ago I was divorce raped, lost my job, everything started falling apart, depression, had to spent some savings, found another job which sucked balls but had no other option, used last savings to buy some small land in the countryside(I live in a poor country, culturally and economically chaotical). I'm lucky I have no current student debt, or mortgage or car loans. City is not safe, people can kill you for some dimes, everybody's pulling you down to not progress, company's over exploit people because laws and justice system doesn't work or is overly corrupted etc. And I see myself in the future investing in this idea off living off the grid since I feel western society is the bringe of collapse.

I need some advice, and if people here are into that.
