Well I didn't go my own way immediately, I read about red pill and didn't take it seriously, it was only after the women who supposedly loved me left me for a drunk and then asked to come back when she found out he was hitting on her best friend, only then I saw it was true, all of it, and I went my own way. PS: also the red pill documentary, it is mind-blowing.

I go my own way because :

I never wanted my own family or anyone to pass my gene or family name as those things don't mean shit to me. Plus I don't like being around children so raising one or more is out of question.
My family members said things like "One day you will change your mind" and blah blah blah for years turned my "not interested" into "Fuck that shit".
I prefer dogs as companions much more than people. Loyal , predictable , useful and don't annoy me as much as human.

As for why I'm here :

I just like this place that people can talk about whatever they want. Astonishing vacation pictures , meals and of course the red pills give me energy (I'm sorta 'rageaholic') for workout and pretty much confirm that I made the right decision. I also enjoy laughing at home gynocentric this world is.

I have no interest in a wife and kids. I was just looking for similar minded people and found MGTOW. I don’t have anything against women in general, but I think society downplays the male struggle sometimes. I wanted to be able to support other guys feeling that societal pressure to “settle down”.

2 months ago, I Stumbled upon terrence popp in yt. Laughed at a few of his vids. . . Then after reflecting over one of his vids, I felt that his ideas made sense.

I watched tfm but i thought he was way too extreme in his views, so I tried sandman.

Sandman was more logical in his analysis, so I tried to see "Mgtow" reddit page for the first time.

After enjoying a browse in this sub and mgtow2's subreddit, I commented a source and some of my experience. I was surprised that I was not downvoted to hell with my experience.

So I tried to post cringe worthy stuff, and expected a shit storm. . . And i got warm summer rain. . . "What is this?" "Where's the downvoted shitstorm?" "Where is all the negativity i was expecting?"

Now bewildered by this new found base of logic, reason, and free thought, i stayed in both subs. . .

. . . Meanwhile, in the real world: unemployed; just got told by the BIR that my application was pooled; weary of doing nothing; sad and hollow of my old self; i was still recovering from being prescribed the wrong medicine, doing the dishes, and preparing for dinner, when my brother scolded me because i could not cover for both his, and his girlfriend's laziness and sloppiness, and they were both scolded by mom. So my brother, in his infinite wisdom thought that it was MY fault. I tried to explain that I could not cover for both of them because i was still sick, but he would not hear it. He "reasoned" with me like he was talking to a child.

In that moment, i had an epiphany. . ." I Just Lost My Brother To Her"

In my grief, and sadness, i posted a rant in mgtow2. When I woke up, my post was removed by an admin because the post was mgtow, not mgtow2. . . . . . . . In my clarity, and grief, I thanked him for that and apologized about the post with grace and dignity. . . . I was surprised the next day when he posted about the incident and the exchange that took place between us, and his experience with more combative people in the sub.

All of that. . . Let me feel, for the first time, the pain of the weight of 2 world's(my brother and his girlfriend's) on my aching back, and my world being dragged along a chain on the ground, tied to my leg.

Dropping my "brother" and his girlfriend. It made me feel free for the first time in my life. I was warry of it at first. But knew exactly what i wanted to do. I bought myself a pair of sex toys online for the first time.(first time to use online retail) Applied to study SMAW NCII; fixed up my bicycle, and started cycling around my city.

Today, I am 1/3 of the way through smaw ncII with a guaranteed job if I certify; LOST 19lbs; making better friends, and reconnecting with old ones; battling (and winning) from asthma and allergies; having a wisdom tooth removal tomorrow;

And Happier than ever before in my life.

Tldr: was my elder brother's bitch; brother turned "Hoes Before Bro's" when I needed him the most; Red pill rage; remembered me; turned mgtow; HAPPY :)

It was pretty much the default outcome for my life. I've always been excluded socially for one reason or another, and I got used to my independence early.

Even during the time I was married, "our friends" were really my wife's friends, not mine, so I didn't really lose any friends when we split up.

I don't even talk to my own family.
