I stopped stressing about money when my base living expenses (Food/Shelter ) became less than 30% of my income....

When I was younger and Food/Shelter took up 80-110% of my income there was much more stress....

One of the blue pill phenomena that used to stump me was why weak beta men would often times work so hard to achieve competency in their field. Some of them would drive themselves into the ground being productive and making money. I never understood how men who were so weak in disposition and character were nonetheless so strong and driven in the workplace.

Then it clicked: pussy

They're trying to buy their way into love.

Made me realize just how much of our modern world is held up by weak beta men desperately trying to get a woman to give a fuck.

The really crazy thing is that my relaxed and "productive at a rational pace" style of working would really piss them off. I was often accused of slacking off or not caring about the project, simply because I broke down the workload into manageable chunks, based on the deadline, and I would systematically solve it. I always completed what was asked of me at a steady pace; it was just work after all, nothing more. I think they knew that this is how you're supposed to approach work, but they can't get to that place mentally. You have to find an internal peace before you can achieve it and an unresolved childhood need for female love and affection can really fuck that up for you.

I've started taking myself out on 'dates'. The movies, a restaurant, anything I like- you'd be surprised at the luxuries you can have in life for less than £40 a weekend (though I don't drink). I don't have to worry about eating food a certain way, the awkward part going dutch on dates (not that i've been on one for a while, but i don't pay for girls) or watching shitty movies they want to watch. I could get my haircut every weekend, go for a round of golf, go to the gym, swimming, the movies, my favorite restaurants, a hike or literally anywhere else, no nagging no bullshit, of course I restrain myself from indulging too much, but I honestly think some guys still stuck in the matrix would freeze if you told them men aren't just supposed to be work horses for women. Saving money is the best thing you can do, I've saved 20 +k English and i've just turned 19. I put money into separate interest bank accounts the first day each month, 100 into a 3.5%, 250 into a 5% (not much but they beat inflation in my country), I won't spend the rest, but if worst came to worst and I had to, at least i saved some money that month.
