Since I started posting oh...3 days ago or something? I've harped on one concept and I'm happy to see I'm not alone in my conviction of it. But I think it's worth another stab under a different title which I think will encourage more conversation around it, because there still seem to be many who are misled on this matter.
Here is the truth: your words are more important than your looks. The wrong words can spoil any advantage that your looks initially provided, and the right words can overcome virtually any physical disadvantage. How you look only matters initially, not ultimately.
Initially, the good looking guys, the rich guys, the famous guys, etc. get all the attention, but if their words and behavior are not congruent with those frames they get left holding their dicks like everyone else. And believe it or not, they sometimes do.
Ultimately, the guys who get the girls are the ones who exhibit confident, high-status behavior, whether or not they're good looking, rich, or famous.
Accepting this truth is the opposite of male hamstering. It brushes aside your excuses and puts the responsibility back on you. And you should be ok with that, because you're a man.
Averages be damned, guys. If one short, fat, bald, ugly, poor, nobody can land a 10 (and it has happened) then so can you.
Sure, it makes sense to work on your physical appearance--of course it does. Why wouldn't we want to shrink the hill we have to climb?
But for those who know how to climb the hill, and by that I mean for those who have learned what high status behavior and words look and sound like...their looks, their money, their popularity...they all diminish in importance over time.
Because they've found a much surer, easier path to all the delicacies this social world we live in has to offer. They know how to please men and women alike and all they desire is theirs.
He who hath friends is rich. Or rather, he who knows how to make them and does so is. And the key to making them is with words, not weights. With sentences, not sexiness. With brilliant questions, not big ass quads.
So go ahead and go to the gym. Lift. I know I do. I love it. It makes me feel good and it makes me look good and it makes everything else easier and there's nothing wrong with that.
But spend real time working on your words and behavior too, because there's something more important to your financial life, your social life, and your peace of mind than a chiseled face, tall frame, big muscles, throngs of adorers, or large bank account, and that's...conversation skills.
Nothing outweighs that. Nothing even compares to it. Conversation is the great equalizer. Words are the most powerful things on planet earth. And those who seek out the right ones and find them, also find there's nothing in this world they can't have.
