Spartan men are literal cuckold warrior slaves.

Aristotle described Spartan society as a matriarchy whose women eventually resulted in the downfall of the Spartans:

A female Spartan had equal rights to Spartan men and could hold her own property.

A female Spartan often held control of her husband's property since he either lived in the communal barracks or was on the warpath.

A Spartan woman's only role was to breed strong children, she did this by cuckolding her husband with any man that was better than him (and it was entirely expected and approved of).

Female Spartans always were granted child custody in a divorce since the paternity was irrelevant (it was always assumed to be the strongest man's child and not the husband's anyways).

Female Spartans never even took care of their child, female Helots (slaves) were wetnurses and took care of all child rearing.

Female Spartans never even worked at all; their role was purely spreading their legs for the strongest men and not even taking care of their child, their only other purpose was to exercise and eat healthy so they could produce healthy children. This gave them unimaginable freedom to pursue whatever art or politics they desired.

Sparta women inherited her parent's property if she had no male siblings. This gave her incentives to encourage her male siblings to "die honorably" in combat. Spartan women were known to be gleeful when hearing of their male family members death and were furious if they survived the battle.

The spoils of war were disbursed equally throughout society upon the return of a successful campaign. Women got an equal share because women who produced strong children were equal to the men who fought on the battlefield. Once again, if more men died, then more loot would be disbursed to the females who sat at home fucking around all day.

Women outnumbered men (obviously due to the horrific attrition Spartan males suffered in war, at birth, and during training) and had an "equal" voice in the government. The two kings who "ruled" Sparta only had authority in the battlefield leading armies, the true power laid in the hands of the elders who listened to a council of the people that were increasingly female. What does a female Spartan want? More war. More war means more free shit (spoils of war). More war means more dead men. More dead men meant a better chance at inheriting a large fortune once all a woman's male siblings were dead.

Meanwhile, a male Spartan's ONLY purpose (with very rare exceptions) was to fight and die. You weren't even considered worth remembering unless you died in battle, then you got a shitty headstone nobody gave a fuck about. Is it any wonder why the Spartan citizen population continued to dwindle until the collapse?

Never forget that Sparta was named after a woman, the wife of the mythological man who "founded" Sparta. This gives "Die for Sparta!" an ENTIRELY different meaning...

Am 62 and no, I wasn't around for the Romans, Spartans or Vikings. Although it feels like it at times! BUT, I have witnessed a hell of a change in the way boys are raised. And it's not for the good.

The Romans, Spartans, and Vikings might have made some badass men, but what happened to their societies despite that? It doesn't do us any good to try and emulate any of that unless we have a better endgame and can learn from their mistakes.

Something all these societies (and our societies from 75+ years ago) had in common, was a lack of placing "Da Children" on pedestals. If they didn't make it, they weren't strong enough to survive the limited trials of childhood.

Women saw that children were expected to get their way without responsibility and without necessary constructive contribution to the social fabric. Guess what? Feminism helped codify this as something women had a right to, with all the merits of personal agency, and none of the solo trials that men must endure.

Also, I would argue that safe spaces are integral to forming good ideas, which are then tested in unsafe spaces, i.e. debates.

Most Knights were trained since age 7 to fight and were probably the deadliest melee combatants in history, and women back then had their place in society. They had the position they deserved to be in and now the Knight name has been tarnished by White Knights.

I get today not all of us a soldiers and warriors, but I do agree that men are taught and shamed women have certain powers over them.
