I went out for a family dinner a few weeks ago with the extended family. My brother, my brother in law and myself decided we were going to walk up to a nearby pub and have a few drinks before heading home, since it was the first time we had all gotten together in a while. my sister and mother protested saying “you boys can’t go out on a weeknight, you won’t get home till the AM and you all have work tomorrow” then my sister added “and besides what am I going to do at home all by myself” my immediate reply was “you’re a strong independent woman who don’t need no man, do what you usually do and watch TV till we get back” she shut up, we went out and had a good time. Best part was, we were all home in bed by 9:30. Shut down the protests and proved them wrong all in one night simply by being our responsible selves.

Dates are useless. I've been in 100s of dates and every time i'm the one who puts subjects into the table. They never have hobbies, interests, passions, subjects to discuss.

Its just a complete waste of time and I'm ashamed of myself for participating in that shit so many times.
