Hi, lurker here. So, what happened recently to me (EU country) is what I define one of the worst experiences of my life. Not because I live under a glass or 'cause I didn't experience other forms of violence, but the way and position from which this was perpetrated made me mad as hell. So, I was at a Nordic countries festival, I was just going through the various countries' stands and taking up papers and free maps, as that was the ultimate meaning of the event. As every stand had a couple of girls/women with the job to tell you something about their country, we chatted about some tourist destinations to see, things to do, etc. In particular, there was a very pretty Danish girl who seemed quite interested in talking and talking, we discovered we shared some interests and so. What happened was incredible. Some time after, a robust girl from that stand approaches me, after I was just relaxing and using my mobile. She asked me, literally, whether we (I and a friend) "were there for the event or just to stalk the girls", and that the (unauthorized) security had had some concerns. She made us understand they wanted us to leave. I was shocked. After taking a while to realize what was happening, I told her that our behavior was totally acceptable and I was in no ways trying to annoy anyone. Shocked, we were happy to leave immediately. I told the security to calm their asses. When I found the first bin, I trashed the entire materials I had collected. Never wanting to see those countries anymore.
