Maybe YOU can't... but the "news/media" can (and does) "make it up."

They publish completely "fictional" crap all the time -- especially under the so called "advice" columns -- in fact even the "major" syndicated ones have been caught repeating the same "letter" several years later; and many of the columnists have admitted that a large portion of their "content" is entirely contrived/fraudulent (i.e. there was no "letter") and what letters aren't entirely so, are at least partially so, as they will selectively pick specific letters and then "edit/revise" them to suit some agenda.

That doesn't necessarily mean that this particular "letter" isn't real, just that it isn't likely to be "real" in the form that it was published; and moreover it is probably NOT a "good example" of the typical letters that they DO receive.

MEDIA is always "selective" and "filtered" and "controlled"... according to one agenda/ideology or another... Ergo what publishing this actually means is that they want to "normalize" this as if it were a common question, etc -- IOW it's propaganda.
