This is all genetic programming.

Guys want her love (and youthful beauty) - temporarily, jut long enough to make a baby (species imperative.) Then he gets bored and finds someone else to make a baby with to ensure species diversity.

Girls want money (and chads) to ensure she survives pregnancy and childbirth and the babies she makes with the guy won't starve or get eaten by a sabretooth.

We're all shitty to each other in our own ways for reasons that were built into us eons ago, best we can do is recognize the pattern, understand the animal in our nature, and rise above it.

Women just have fewer incentives to do so as they're currently being rewarded by govts and corporations that take a percentage when throwing men into the wood chipper.

I mean, my girlfriend isn’t like that. We trade paying for stuff and pay for our own shit while occasionally giving each other gifts. You just gotta make sure you set the standard that you don’t pay for everything. I feel like that’s most women’s mindset anyway that you trade paying for stuff.
