Most on TRP, and in the manosphere, are well acquainted with the concept of Feelz before Realz that most women, and many BP men, subscribe to. There seems to be no end to the ridicule heaped on those who view the world that way. Most of that is well deserved, however, it needs to be pointed out for those who haven't realized it yet that most men, including many RP men, engage in their own version of that thought process: idealz before realz.

Whereas for most women how they feel determines how they view facts, for most men, how they think determines how they view facts. These men deny the reality of how things are in favor of how they believe things should be. Their ideas determine the reality and they shoehorn all they observe into fitting that ideal state.

Take Nicholi Tesla, for example. Mo doubt a genius. Perhaps the greatest of his age. But he was also far more concerned with what he believed should be true than the reality of what was. So, where others made fortunes and left inovative legacies, he died alone, broke, estranged from society and in relative obscurity for most of a century relevant only to other fringe idealists.

The most common form of this, and the one we've all been guilty of at some point is pussy pedestalizing. Everything we see tells us what women are, but we ignore it for what we think women should be. Idealz before realz.
