Extreme jealousy and inferiority complexes. Those women are very problematic.

When living with a female roommate who considered herself an intellectual she saw me as the same for the first few days. I'll tell you guys something, seriously. Never, ever, go into teaching or childcare at any level. It's a completely feminist-dominated arena, and they will set out to destroy you. I started with foreign language teaching, then did some teaching assistant work, and then moved to supply teacher. I only protected myself by being utterly hardnosed and ruthless in all my dealings with everyone involved. You can't even trust the men in that industry/sector, because they know the score too - women run it. Do NOT, I repeat, do NOT choose it for a career. If you want a taster, do agency work. This will divest you of your illusions. Teaching isn't about teaching - it's all about the sociological programming. You may need to try it out first to divest yourself of your illusions. But have a fallback plan because, like being a professional soldier, it isn't for people with a passion or a calling.
