You've already lost. Seriously. I can tell by your post history that you joined TRP fairly recently (which is cool, welcome) but you also sound like you haven't read the sidebar at all.

You can go years fucking a girl without her knowing anything about you. Their relationship to you is strictly how you make them feel. Thus, being 'on the verge of getting to know one another' means nothing.

Start lifting (don't pretend you do, I can tell you don't) and find a physical hobby. And not martial arts or MMA or some other short-guy crap, I'm talking hiking or boating or fishing, something where you can take the girl along and have a chance for personal interaction and close contact.

She studies "media studies".

If she's pretty and in media studies, she will at least end up in a $30,000.00 per year job without too much trouble. It's a safe bet. Build her up about how good she is with people and help her along. As far as your interest in tech fields, don't talk about it. If she asks, tell her you're into technical fields because technology is one of the few frontiers left in this world and you want to explore it. Otherwise you'll seem like just another STEM sperg.

EDIT: Read some of your comments. Club game? What the fuck are you talking about? If you've read anything here you'll see that most of the content discussed here isn't even about club game. In fact, there are some posts that advise against going to clubs. This place is a goldmine for "general life" advice, but you clearly haven't read much. Hit the sidebar.
