Walked up to check out some items at the store, noticed the female cashier was chatting with some other females she just checked through, I'm the only one in line after them. They keep chatting (probably know each other) while I'm listening to music so I lose track of time for a bit. After a while I decide to get something else and return to them still talking, the store is empty and I'm still the only one in line. I wait for a while longer until the other customer tells me to go ahead with my items. Slightly annoyed that I haven't left and had interrupted her conversation, this cashier says if I'm not paying with cash I should use the self checkout because it relieves stress on the cashiers. Before this point I didn't even know there were self checkout machines, they're kinda hidden away. This came as a surprise and I was lost for words. I just thought I'm already here so might as well just check me out and isn't this bitch getting paid for a job she signed up for? Stayed cordial after buying my items and went on my way. What a waste... Go your own way boys, no need for dead weights around your ankles.
