Nowadays it seems like most of the men I meet aren’t doing much with their lives. They seem to not want to go to school which is fine, but don’t want to “work for someone” either. They want to own their own businesses but they don’t seem to want to put in the work. My last boyfriend went to school but never finished and ended up working in the mall. The guy I met at the grocery store was an up and coming rapper, but we’re both 29 and I think it’s time for him to be more realistic. Yesterday I went on a date with this guy my friend set me up with and he works at Walmart. I asked him what his goals were and he said he’s living in the moment. I asked him if he wanted to work at Walmart forever and he got offended and told me if I’m a gold digger then I came to the wrong place. My friend heard of this and said I’m too picky. I don’t want someone swimming in money, I just want you to not live paycheck to paycheck. It feels like women are more successful than men these days and we seem to work harder. Am I honestly being too picky or what? Would you guys be ok with dating a person that was ok with living the struggle life when they didn’t have to?

I always love these “am I a gold digger” type questions.
If you have to ask cupcake, then you are.
So she’a upset that Mike the Millionaire isn’t interested. Oh well.
If people are only setting you up with Walmart employees, then your friends don’t like you. Go hang out where rich people go and dig there.
I seem to get push back when I say no fat chicks. Digging for gold? Perfectly fine. Desiring a fit woman, the horror.
Probably because that takes work on her part and women don’t do that.
Sorry I went MGTOW and have fat stacks in the bank.

It's really simple. Guys with a successful career have a large pool of women to choose from and thus will not bother dating a 29-year-old. This is the reason all the guys she meets are poor.

I don’t make much. But I still save and invest over half my income all the while earning dividends, winning with compound interest in my Roth IRA, 401k matching contributions, etc. I live a modest lifestyle, but someone like her would say the same, that I’m not “going anywhere in life.” She would probably think I’m living paycheck to paycheck based on my lifestyle alone. This is a reason why I don’t bother dating any more. More for me and more freedom, too.

How much you want to bet she is no where near a good catch. Her friends are setting her up with guys like that because they probably know she won't get better.
She probably has nothing going for her so she ran to white knight hyper feminist reddit for validation. Instead of changing herself or her preferences she now has hundreds of people telling her "slay queen, yaas, go girl nothing wrong with you."
29? I'm in my early 30s, 29 is much too old. 29 is just for banging in most cases. Only way I "date" a 29 year old is if I was 40+. I have a good career, good goals, in shape and high potential. 18-23 for me, sorry ladies.
