"Cultural appropriation" is one of the ways languages grow. As much as I hate these stupid internet words, "thicc" is now part of the English lexicon, for better or worse.

Electric lights, indoor plumbing, telephones, all modern methods of travel (planes trains and autos) computers , televisions, radios, most social media sites,etc. etc. etc.
